We would love for you to be a part of our SBDM next year. Each year two parents are elected from a list of nominations to serve a one year term (can be repeated) as a parent representative on our School Based Descision Making team. Our SBDM will meet once a month and receive training on how to best serve our school during the summer. If you are interested or know someone who would be a great candidate in serving our school, please fill out the nomination form no later than Tuesday, April 28th at 5:00pm. We will have one week of Nominations then we will have one day of voting. Nominations can be submitted electronically or in person in writing delivered to Mr. DeVore (Principal). Hiseville SBDM parent nominations are open. If interested in being a part of our SBDM please nominate from email sent out yesterday or through an email to Jonathan.devore@barren.kyschools.us. If your child is playing any Middle School or High School sports next year you will need a KHSAA Sports Physical. If you will need a sports physical for Barren County Schools please be aware of this opportunity on June 1st at Barren County Trojan Academy.

Spring Fling is this afternoon, Thursday, April 16. Students will stay afterschool and begin dancing. Pickup for dance will be at the regular car rider line pickup at 3:45pm. If your child normally stays afterschool for BBB afterschool program they will transition at 3:45.
Just a reminder that the BETA club will be hosting a Spring Fling for Hiseville students tomorrow afternoon from the end of school until 3:45. Please see the flier for more details.

Tomorrow is HERO day at Hiseville Elementary. Students can dress up with favorite Hero attire (no mask or accessories please). We can't wait to recognize our student Hero's.
Tomorrow our 3rd grade through 6th grade will be taking their Reading MAP test. This is used to give insight into what all our students have learned this year and where we can improve their knowledge before the KSA test in May. Please encourage your child's best effort so we can the most true picture of their learning.
Come join us tonight for a fun filled evening of Math games and the Spring Book Fair. Tonight at 5:30 we will start in the gym where we discuss PTO fundraising and purchases. We will start our Math night where you will go to multiple classrooms and have the opportunity to go to the Book Fair's last day this year.
