Dear Cardinal Family,

The month of November brings us more fun. We will have our Fall Festival on Friday, November 14. Come and enjoy a night of food and games, with some of the traditional favorites like Bingo, the Cake Walk, and the live auction of the classroom baskets. Our students are preparing a Veteran's Day Program for Wednesday, November 12. If you are a veteran, we would love to have you in attendance for this special ceremony. Look for additional information to be sent home.

During the month of October we had a school wide attendance of 96.1, with 6th graders leading attendance with 97.49% average daily attendance. Fifth grade and Kindergarten are right behind them with 97.43% (5th Graders) and 97.01% (Kindergarten). This is great, and I am very proud of your efforts as families to support coming to school to get an education.

We do get to enjoy some downtime later in the month as we get our Thanksgiving break. Celebrate the successes that have been earned. Later this month we will get to recognize students for their work last year on the KSA test. We know our students gave their best so we look forward to recognizing their efforts. We hope you take time to enjoy your families, give thanks for your wonderful children, and find promise in your friendships this holiday season.
